I found Absinthe to be bitter and horrible. I couldn’t finish it, not worth it to me anyway. Even with the sugar cube.
That’s cool. I’ve never tried Absinthe yet. I’m looking forward to trying some on my European trip. *sigh* I hope I won’t be trippin’ too much. LOL

Sadly the Green Fairy and I have never seen eye to eye. Not since that fateful Christmas Eve in Shanghai… Let’s say we’re just old friends who don’t see each other often now… Lol :)
In Barcelona, before their Olympics, I drank Absinthe in the old quarter. That was a really nice experience. Until more recently! They still produce an illegal absinthe in the South of Spain (apparently) where people I used to know had a summer apartment. Anyway, they smuggled this awful luridly pink absinthe to London. Of course I had to try it – horrors!
I actually used to have a huge copy of the first post hanging in my apartment! (I wonder if I still have it in storage somewhere…)
