I wonder who sponsors all these unusual food days, and I assume it refers only to the US? You can bring on shrimp day anytime as far as I’m concerned… mmmmm
I sponsor the days, well sort of. In 2006 I started posting food holidays on my blog. My goal is to celebrate food every day. Why not right!
Wow, it’s like you read my mind because I was planning on making almost this exact dish today as an appetizer! Woohoo for shrimp day :)
Reblogged this on Meals on Wheels.
So tell me what is the difference between prawns and shrimps in your part of the world ???? Did we have shrimps national day – a couple a weeks ago ??? Or was that prawns ??? In my part of the world they are same same .. only different sizes.
Shrimp and Prawns can be “universal” but in North America prawns are usually referred to as shrimp. The food holiday, national shrimp scampi day was just a week of so ago.
