The first food I can ever remember craving was a scrambled egg and cheese sandwich on toasted white bread.

That was until I was about eight.
My Yankee Aunt fixed me a scrambled egg and cheese riddled with egg shells.   Every bite had a crunch.
 It turned me off to them for years afterword.  
Good thing those early morning food runs to Waffle House in college…..I rediscovered this fried egg beauty once again!
Off to make one for myself now.
