T and I ordered an extra cup of coffee, and soon dessert menus appeared.

We were understandably full (see my earlier blog entries), but we only get this chance a few times a year. So we couldn’t resist!

I chose the lemon mille-feuille—lemon parfait, lemon grass granita, and lemon sorbet. As we shared the citrusy trio, we took in Balthazar in all its glory. T ordered a glass of red wine.

We asked for the check, and received what you see in the last picture.

Thanksgiving at Balthazar! Wouldn’t that be nice?

I will have mine at home, surrounded by friends and family basking in the smells and the flavors of the season, but Balthazar would be my second choice without a doubt!
