We love them .. and so do my 90 year old mum. Don’t agree that the British make the best chips – not because I’m Sweden, but I would claim that our chips are probably the best chips in the world: OLW & Estrella.
All done to the great quality of spuds. Goes well with our Absolut vodka. This there not an Absolut celebration day too – should be.

“Chips, to them are French Fried potatoes.” Speaking as a British person, there’s nothing French about our fried potatoes π

I have tried most brands. I have tried chocolate covered potato chips. I love pickle flavored chips. The best so far are Frito Lays version. Not too salty and not too sour.
I gave up store bought potato chips for Lent, they are my guilty pleasure. I have done good so far. I make my own potato chip or french fries to kill the craving and temptation.
