Thanks for setting me straight! I googled. Now I now a lot more about corn syrup than anybody would probably ever want to know. Sugar chemistry is complicated! Sadly sugar of most stripes is off my grocery list, so I won’t get to try these cute little corn candies any time soon…

I stated the calories were the same…not they are superior to raisons. Corn Syrup and High Fructose Corn Syrup are completely different things. Google it.

I’ve never heard of this stuff – had to look it up in Wikipedia. It’s nothing but fructose, the worst possible sugar you can eat and absolutely no comparison nutritionally speaking with a box of raisins. All I can say is… booooo!
