So we are proud to announce:

April 25th is National Crotilla Day

Here at Foodimentary, we are constantly being sent information samples of food items and recipes. Most are great, some are weird then occasionally you find a real gem of an idea. A new food with staying power….and delicious.

This year I was fortunate enough to have discovered THE food item that has really impressed us.  They call it a ‘Crotilla’ pronounced Crow-TEE-ah.

Imagine a flatbread made of many layers of the buttery crisp dough like a croissant.

 

Believe me, this ‘new food’ is our Number 1 new food pick of 2017.
